본 연구는 111개 국가들을 헌팅턴의 9개 문명권과 홉스테드의 문화적 거리로 분류한 후, 중력모형을 적용하여 우리나라와의 교역액과 문화상품 수출입교역액에 미친 상대 국가들의 국가(정치, 경제, 재무)리스크 영향력을 17년간의 자료를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 두 교역국의 1인당 GDP, 국가 간 거리변수, 문화적 차이를 적용한 중력함수 모형은 검증되었다. 더불어, 문화적 거리와 관계없이 경제리스크가 감소할수록 우리나라와의 교역액은 증가한 반면, 문화근거리국가들과는 다르게 장거리국가들의 정치리스크가 감소할수록 우리나라의 수출액은 증가하였다. 다음으로 문화상품 교역액 관련, 문화적 거리와 관계없이 정치리스크가 감소할수록 우리나라와의 문화상품 교역액이 증가한 반면, 문화 장거리국가들과 다르게 단거리국가들의 경제리스크가 증가할수록 우리나라와의 문화상품 교역액이 증가하였고, 문화 장거리국가들의 재무리스크가 감소될 때 우리나라의 문화상품 수입액이 증가하였다. 마지막으로 문명권 별 특성을 보면, 상대 국가 내 리스크와 우리나라와의 문화상품 교역액이 부(-)의 인과관계에 있는 문명권은 라틴아메리카, 힌두, 서구, 정교 등이었고 정(+)의 인과관계였던 문명권은 이슬람, 아프리카 등이었다. 세부적인 결과의 함의가 논의되었다.　
　
In this study, 111 countries were classified into nine civilizations of Huntington and the cultural distance of Hopstead. Then, by appling the gravity model, the analysis of the influence of domestic risk (politics, economics, finance) in foreign countries on the trade volume and the amount of cultural contents import and export trade with Korea is analyzed through 17 years data. As a result, the gravity function model applying per capita GDP, inter - country distance variable, and cultural difference in the two trading countries was verified. In addition, regardless of cultural distance, as the economic risk decreased, the amount of trade with Korea increased. As the political risks of ‘the long - distance countries of culture’ decreased, the exports of Korea increased. Second, the amount of cultural contents related product trades, trade with Korea increased with decreasing political risk regardless of cultural distance. Yet, as the economic risks of ‘the short - distance countries of culture’ increased, the amount of cultural contents related product trade with Korea increased. Cultural contents related products imports of Korea increased when financial risk of ‘long - distance nations of culture’ decreased. Lastly, the civilizations in the negative causality between the their domestic risks and the cultural contents related product trade with Korea were Latin America, Hindu, Western, and Orthodoxy and Islam and Africa were the opposite. Implications of the results were discussed.
